Our Beliefs

We stand squarely in the grace-based revolution of the Reformation, which means we believe in:

  • salvation by the grace of God through faith in Christ alone, in other words our status with God is determined by Christ’s holiness, not our own holiness

  • the primacy of love for God and love for others

  • the Bible as God’s inerrant truth

  • the equality of all Christians

  • the reality of a personal relationship with God

  • the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of all Christians

  • the need to follow Christ with heart, mind, body and will

Our purpose in worship is to honor God and encourage one another to holiness in all we say and do: music, prayer, readings and responsive readings of Scripture, affirmations of faith, financial offerings, sacraments, personal testimonies, preaching and community.
